Dear Crockett Community,
We want to extend a big thank you to everyone who came out for our Hispanic Heritage Month Lotería Potluck! It was a fantastic evening of food, fun, and community, and we were thrilled to see so many families join us. We are excited to continue collaborating with our amazing Dual Language Program for future events—stay tuned for more!
A special shout-out goes to our Crockett staff! At Monday’s professional development day, the PTSA surprised them with “mystery bags” because it’s no mystery that we have the best staff at Crockett! Some bags included gift cards, while others were filled with pens, highlighters, sweets, and treats. We love showing our appreciation for all the hard work our staff does every day!
What’s Coming Up:
Spirit Nights: We’re finalizing dates for two fun fall events—Spirit Night at Reverie Books and a Bingo Night at Quackenbush. More details coming soon!
Crockett Campus and Courtyard Cleanup: Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 16th from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Grab your rakes, gloves, and gardening tools and join us for our first-ever campus cleanup as we prepare to beautify our courtyards and gardens. We welcome all hands on deck! Also, your Crockett student can earn 3 community service hours for working at the cleanup with you!
Next PTSA Meeting: Join us on Wednesday, November 13th at 5:30 PM in the Crockett library to hear about upcoming events and get involved in our planning efforts. We’d love to see you there!
Get Involved: We still have space on several committees, including the Campus Advisory Council, Beautification Committee, Fundraising Committee, and Student and Staff Appreciation Committee. If you’re interested in contributing your ideas and skills, please come to the Nov. 13th PTSA meeting. Your involvement makes a huge difference!
Thank you for being an active part of our Crockett community. We’re excited for what’s ahead so we can keep working together to make Crockett a wonderful place for our students and staff!
Warmly,
Your Crockett PTSA
