Elkhorn Week of 8/4/24

We are excited to announce that this year, families will be able to verify their child's elementary school teacher and secondary school class schedule through our online data confirmation process. Starting on July 19, 2024, at 10:00 AM, parents who have completed the online data confirmation will be able to access this information. We encourage all parents to complete the online data confirmation process by following the instructions in the flyer below.

• Reminder we follow the Elementary Calendar for all grades

• Drop off and pick up were a bit slower this past week, which is to be expected during the first week. I am very happy that I saw very few left turns out of the parking lot. Things I did see, however, that I need your help with particularly happened at pick up after school:
• Do not have your child walk to you as you are waiting in the pickup line, particularly in front of school.
• Please use the crosswalk and cross safely with the crossing guard when crossing Davis Road
• Do not pick up and drop off in front of or in the Staff Parking Lot
• Thank you for working together to help keep our students safe!

• Middle School: Wednesday, 8/7 from 5:30pm-6:30pm in Multipurpose Room
• You may park in the church lot, but please be mindful if their are reserve signs for church members.

• Our 8th grade SOS Study Trip is scheduled for 9/9-9/11.
• More information will be sent home with your 8th graders this week.

• We are currently looking to fill the following positions:
• School Playground and Cafeteria Monitor (SPCM): Monday-Friday, 11:50pm-12:50pm
• Adult Crossing Guard: Monday-Friday, 2:10pm-2:40pm
• Night Custodian: 2:30pm-4:30pm
