While our teachers still have plenty of content left this year to teach, we are starting to lay the groundwork for 2025-26. We want to build on the successes from this year including raising our school letter grade even farther and supporting our students in being college and career ready. We also want to do everything we can to make our school culture and climate one that helps you as our families become as integrated as possible with our work. Towards those ends I want to make sure you know of a special event coming up on May 1st.
On May 1st, we will host a Family cultural celebration for our school. This event will include art displays by students, music, a building walk, food for families, and a celebratory announcement of us gaining the Welcoming Schools Seal of Excellence! We are inviting families to join us on campus at 2pm that afternoon where they can celebrate with their students in a showcase of the many cultures that make up Pueblo Gardens. All of our elementary students will take part in the event in our courtyard and when families come onto campus, they can collect their middle school students if you would like them to join the event as well. Once you are finished with the event and walkthrough you can check your student out early. We can’t wait to celebrate our many school cultures with you that day!
