Principal's Message
Thomas Families,
Welcome back to school! What an unusual return filled with winter weather. It’s a good time to review our winter weather policies after the week we’ve had.
If school is closed due to snow or inclement weather, you will receive a phone call, text, or email from Dublin City Schools. If you did NOT receive any communication from the district when we had a snow day on Tuesday, please contact our front office. We can help get you set up with that.
Some situations might call for a two hour delay. In that case, the bus will pick up your child exactly two hours later than their typical time. The school doors will open at 11:00, and the bell will ring at 11:10. Morning kindergarten would be cancelled. School will dismiss at the normal time.
Go Tigers,
Melissa Garris

A valuable item was found behind the school this week. If you or a neighbor has lost an item of value near the back field/playground, please contact Mrs. Garris.
Kindergarten Dyslexia Screening
Per Ohio law, public schools are required to administer a state approved dyslexia screening measure to all kindergarten students. Dublin City Schools will be administering the mClass DIBELS 8 assessment to students over the next several weeks. This will serve as our dyslexia assessment measure. The mClass DIBELS 8 assessment includes short fluency measures that can be used to regularly detect risk and monitor the development of early literacy skills. Additional information about mClass DIBELS 8 can be found here. Parents will receive assessment results in February.
NO SCHOOL JANUARY 20
In observance of the Martin Luther King Jr Holiday, there will be no school on Monday, January 20. Enjoy the day!
