Volunteer Opportunities
After School Clubs
As we prepare for the new year, we’re excited to offer a variety of after-school clubs that will provide students with enriching, fun, and educational opportunities. However, these clubs can only happen if we have enough volunteers to lead them.
We are reaching out to our school community in hopes of finding committed, reliable volunteers who can help us bring these programs to life. Without sufficient volunteers, some of our planned after-school activities may not be able to run. That’s where you come in!
What We Need:
- Volunteers who are able to commit to leading one or more after-school clubs.
- A consistent commitment throughout the remainder of the school year (beginning in January or February).
Why It’s Important:
- Without volunteers, we cannot offer the after-school programs that our students are looking forward to.
- Your involvement will help ensure that these clubs run smoothly and provide a meaningful experience for every student.
- It’s an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners and help foster a sense of community within our school.

5th Grade Plant Sale Fundraiser (Jamie will support)
- We are looking for a parent from each 5th grade class to help plan and organize the fundraiser (more volunteers welcome). All funds from this event will go to support the 5th grade celebration at the end of the year.
STEAM Night (April, 2025)
- Two coordinators/chairs
- Planning committee of 2-4 people to help

Carnival

5th Grade Celebration
- We are looking for a parent from each 5th grade class to coordinate/chair the event (more volunteers welcome).

PLEASE NOTE: You are required to be an approved volunteer by NCSD before you are able to volunteer for any event at our school; this includes field trips, classroom volunteering, events, etc. Submitting this application does not sign you up for any activity with Milwaukie El Puente. Once you are approved by the district you will be able to sign up for volunteer shifts with MEP through HelpCounter
