🚫Safe Gun Storage Saves Lives
With children at home for winter break, now’s the time to put safe gun storage on your holiday to-do list.
Follow These 3 steps to safe gun storage
1. Store Firearms - Store unloaded and secured by using a trigger lock, biometric lock, gun case, strong box, gun cabinet or gun safe.
2. Store Ammunition - Store and lock ammunition safely.
3. Restrict Access - Keep others from getting access to stored firearms 24/7. That includes family, friends, children, or other visitors.
Learn how to store guns safely at SafeGunStorageTexas.com.

Weiss High School Students Shine in JA Entrepreneurship Program
Over the past six weeks, Business Management students at Weiss High School immersed themselves in the JA It’s My Business program. This dynamic initiative introduced students to the principles of design thinking, guiding them through a hands-on process to:
- Empathize with a problem
- Identify a need and solution for a target market
- Prototype their concept
- Develop a market test
- Assemble a pitch deck to present their business idea
Working in teams, the students tackled real-world challenges with creativity and determination.
Three standout teams from Mrs. Matula’s classes earned an invitation to showcase their innovative ideas at the JA E2: Entrepreneurship & Empowerment Summit Area-Wide Pitch Competition.
In preparation for the event, students collaborated with experienced coaches to refine their presentations and enhance their public speaking skills. This invaluable experience not only strengthened their entrepreneurial skills but also boosted their confidence and teamwork abilities.
Pure Essence Wellness Studio - Elan Reed, Jordyn Conrod, Gabby Webster
Problem: In this day and age, women are often overlooked and under a lot of stress due
to the lack of useful places where women can focus on their mental and physical health,
while building a safe community around them.
Solution: Provide a safe and welcoming environment to women where they can improve
their mental and physical health through wellness and support.
CrudeFood - Kelvin Duong-presented; team members included Andrew Pham, Izaak Miller,
Carter Marsh)
Problem: The lack of access to recipes that only include ingredients already available in
the house.
Solution: CrudeFood creates a more available and adaptive recipe book that free
Americans from the commitment of buying something.
Airbend-O - Austin Parkhurst, Stanley Odoms, Bimen Fekry
Problem: We're solving the issue of manually moving and cleaning coils.
Solution: Instead, we're developing an automatic cleaning system that will clean the coils
as needed.
We’re incredibly proud of our Weiss Wolves and their commitment to innovation and excellence.
Keep an eye out for these future business leaders—they’re just getting started!

Karen Raymond of ISS Teacher / Cele Store (via: Shannon)
I want to take a moment to recognize Mrs. Raymond for her incredible kindness and support. Recently, my son had a situation at school that really upset him. When he went to Mrs. Raymond, she not only listened to him but also went above and beyond to help.
Her compassion and effort made such a difference. Knowing that she cared so much and worked so hard to make him feel better is something I’ll never forget. We’re so lucky to have teachers like Mrs. Raymond, who truly care about their students.
Thank you, Mrs. Raymond, for being such a wonderful part of Cele!
