Minutos de Mrs. Hutchins
Hello Fronteras Families,
What a busy week! Students completed spring MAP testing and had fun dressing for the spirit days! Check out the photos throughout the newsletter.
Our annual lottery was held Tuesday evening. Associate Superintendent, Reese Everett, was present, and had the privilege of drawing the names for all grade levels. Thank you APC Chair, Jen Manion, for assisting with the lottery again as well! We are excited to meet all the new families joining us in the fall!
Thank you Sra. Francisco and Sr. Pantoja for designing and leading yet another fantastic Spanish Spelling Bee! Every student in every grade level participated and wowed us with their 2nd language spelling skills! Congratulations kiddos!
Thank you to our Student Ambassadors, Ruth and Kai, for leading the Animal Shelter Supply Drive! Donations are pouring in! It’s going to be exciting to see which team of classrooms earn the ice cream party! THANK YOU to everyone for being so generous with your donations!
I can’t believe we’re down to only three weeks of school! Despite all the mitigation plan protocols, class and full school closures, mandatory quarantine requirements, extended absences, and BUZZ hiccups, I have to say it has been a great school year! Thank You for understanding and abiding by all the new rules and precautions!
Wishing everyone a fantastic weekend!
Most Sincerely,
Mrs. Hutchins

Animal Shelter Drive Update from our Student Ambassadors!
Hello fronteras families!
Fronteras’ student ambassadors Kai and Ruth, would like to give a quick update on the progress of the animal food drive. We would like to start by giving a huge thank you to everyone who has donated so far. We are so impressed with how many donations we have received in the first week. As of yesterday, according to our count, the leading team is the ⅔ and ¾ group with 179 points and middle school in a close second with 142 points. Virtual learners, please help your grade level team by bringing in your donation at a time convenient for you! And don't worry! You will be an ice cream recipient should your grade level win! The food drive is still in progress for all of next week, ending on Friday, May 7th. Feel free to bring in donations any time!
Student Ambassadors, Ruth and Kai, count the donations that are pouring in! Thank you everyone for your tremendous support!
