Mountain Lion Memo
Family Newsletter - November 22nd, 2024
Hello Mackeben Families,
I wanted to share my immense amount of gratitude for the Mackeben community. I am continuously blown away by the generosity of time, supportive donations and caring support by all of our families. I love seeing our volunteers working with children, helping in the library and enhancing our Square Barn PTA. This year with funds raised from our Read-A-Thon we were able to book assemblies focusing on anti-bullying and kindness and continue to improve accessibility in our library. As parents and family members you are your child's first teachers, and we appreciate your collaboration and partnership that allows our students to grow academically and social emotionally.
During parent/teacher conferences, you will get a chance to discuss your child's successes and areas of growth. We are all dedicated to the advancement of your child to be the best growing scholar and positive citizen that they can be.
In our Rotunda during conferences, we will have an opportunity to share your gratitude by writing a Thank You note to any classroom teacher or staff member for their tireless dedication to support your child each day. We hope that you will take a moment to share and brighten the day of our Mackeben staff.
Shining Bright - Staff Star of the Week!!!!
Ms. Magen Berg
Ms. Berg is one of our fabulous instructional coaches here at Mackeben. She amazing at everything she does, she has a warm, welcoming personality which makes everyone comfortable enough to share their teaching concerns without the fear of being judged or looked down upon. Ms. Berg knows the curriculum for each grade level and the standards inside out. She takes that knowledge and expertise to help coach, model and lead teachers with whatever they ask for help with.
Ms. Berg has a huge caring heart and is always so happy and cheerful whenever you see her. She is the first to lend a hand when needed and I can honestly say she has helped our staff to be better teacher.
Ms. Berg not only is a spectacular instructional coach, she loves the outdoors. She is ready for snowmobiling in the winter, hunting deer in the fall and enjoying being Up North with her dog whenever she can.
Thank you Ms. Berg for being such an amazing asset to us all at Mackeben and a great friend.
