Message from Mr. Beierman
Hello, Twin Bluff parents and guardians.
We haven't had much snow this winter, plenty of cold, yet somehow it is already February. I am amazed how quickly time goes by even during this time of year which sometimes limits our ability to get outside and enjoy the Red Wing area.
We have been really busy at Twin Bluff Middle School and look forward to finishing out the school year in a consistent fashion. You may have guessed it, we want to finish in a Safe, Kind, and Responsible way.
We filter all we do through those three expectations every day. Whether we are talking about parent drop-off, pick-up, the bus loop, or hallway and classroom behavior, we want to ensure all parts of our student days are as Safe as possible.
For our Kindness expectation, I have been providing examples each day during our morning announcements. Something as simple as using “please” and “thank you” in the lunch line goes a long way in making our days go better. I provide continuous reminders throughout the day when I am asked something by students or staff. I want to reinforce the use of appropriate and Kind words, always.
For our Responsible expectation, we practice learning from our mistakes and owning our parts in behavior that may not meet our school-wide expectations. We work together to develop plans we can use when we are faced with similar circumstances in the future. In short, we learn from our mistakes and try not to repeat them.
While this may sound relatively simple, when you throw in the energy level and developmental capacity of our students, it can be challenging at times. It is a challenge we enjoy and embrace. We appreciate everyone's support as we work to learn and grow together.
We will continue to support and work with you in making your student's Twin Bluff experience as positive as it can be. We will continue to support and challenge our students to achieve their highest potential and we look forward to what the future holds for each of them!
Be safe and well.
Mr. Beierman & The TBMS Team

After all, this is Minnesota, the land of ice fishing, hockey, cross-country skiing, fat biking, and sledding – why wouldn’t we throw a Walk to School Day party in the middle of the winter?
