Welcome Back, Saints!

As we open the doors for a new school year at San Dimas High School, I want to extend a warm welcome to our students, parents, staff, faculty, and the entire San Dimas community. The energy and enthusiasm surrounding our campus are truly inspiring.

Last week, we had a very successful registration, thanks to our dedicated staff and the active participation of our ASB. Our teachers have been hard at work these past three days, preparing their classrooms and lesson plans, ensuring that every student is set up for success from day one.

This year, we are excited to introduce our new theme, "The Future Looks Bright!" This theme reflects our collective optimism and commitment to making the 2024-2025 school year one of growth, achievement, and innovation. Our new motto, "Excel Through Continuous Growth," will be a guiding principle for us all, encouraging each of us to strive for excellence in every aspect of our lives.

We’ve also made several repairs and improvements to our campus, all aimed at providing our students with the best and safest learning environment. We’ll be sharing more details about these enhancements in this newsletter, so stay tuned!

Additionally, we are setting a lofty goal of attaining 95% attendance throughout each of the four quarters this year. We know that regular attendance is key to student success, and we need your support to make this goal a reality. We’ll also be reminding everyone to submit the Education Benefit Form as it is directly tied to Title 1 funding. This funding is crucial as it helps us provide essential programs, materials, and personnel for our students.

There are a couple changes to the frequency of this newsletter for this new school year. The Saint Exclusive will be sent out on Mondays instead of Fridays and it will be sent out every two weeks rather than weekly.

Let's embark on this journey together, with positivity, determination, and the confidence that we are building a bright future for every student at SDHS. Here's to a fantastic year ahead!

You must be cleared on Athleticclearance.com and have a physical on file dated after May 1st, 2024 and signed and stamped by an MD, DO, NP or PA only. This is for tryouts, practice and regular season.
