Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the administrative team, welcome back! We hope that you enjoyed a relaxing and rejuvenating summer vacation. However fabulous your summer, transitions back to school are always fraught with mixed emotions. Hopefully, the professional development days will help everyone cross the bridge between vacation and beginning the new school year. Most important is that you know we appreciate you and we are here to support the important work you do in your classrooms every day. Whether it's your 1st or 40th year, thank you for choosing to serve the students of Central High School.

The purpose of the Monday Memo, which I will typically send out on Sunday evening, is to ease that anxiety with a straightforward plan for the week ahead. Some people find it helpful to read on Sunday evening, but that's not the expectation. Please review the weekly memos at the start of your work week.

All teachers report to their respective schools at their respective start times. Asynchronous trainings are accessed from school. Please reference the chart for details.

If you have fulfilled your Right to Read requirement, please review the menu of offerings from PPSD. For your convenience, Ms. Bevilacqua has organized suggestions by department.

All faculty and staff will come together for Orientation Day on Thursday. We will gather in the gymnatorium for refreshments from 7:40-8:00, followed by a schedule of informational and working sessions.
