Summer will be here before we know it! Sudbury Public Schools is proud to be heading into our third year facilitating the SMILE & EXPLORE Program, designed for students entering Kindergarten, as well as those currently attending Kindergarten through 5th grade.
As was highlighted in the district communication sent in February, enrollment in the SMILE & EXPLORE Program is well underway! We have completed the initial phase of enrollment and are eager to open remaining spots to additional students in our community! Please review the following information and complete the linked registration form if you are interested in having your child participate.
EXPLORE Program Information Dates: July 10th - August 4th Location: Peter Noyes School Time: 8:30-11:30 or 12:00-3:00 or 8:30-3:00 (time varies based on enrollment) Cost: $900 for Half-Day, $1800 for Full-Day (financial assistance available) A tuition-based program, led by licensed SPS teachers, designed to engage students in active and enriching social experiences, primarily focused on Physical Education, The Arts and Science and Engineering. Students will rotate through engaging experiences with a small group of same-aged peers, supported by counselors and junior counselors. A virtual Parent Information Night will be held on Wednesday, May 17th from 6:00 - 7:00. Transportation Bus transportation will be available, accessible for morning, midday and afternoon student pickup and drop off the following hubs: Haynes, Loring, Curtis, 655 Boston Post Road, Haskell Field, and multiple sites in Boston. Lunch We have partnered with Wayland Food Services to provide lunch options for all full-day interested students. Lunch will remain free, as it has this school year. You will have an opportunity to order lunch before the program begins. Nursing Care A full-time nurse will be available to support students for the duration of the program. Enrolled students will receive a request for additional information, including opportunities to share important medical details. Scholarships Families who qualify for financial assistance may have the tuition for EXPLORE reduced or waived. You will have an opportunity to request assistance when you complete the registration form.

Dear Parents/Guardians:
If you will not need school bus transportation for the upcoming year, no further action is necessary.
School bus registration is now open for the 2023-2024 school year. All families who choose school bus transportation, whether no-fee or fee-based, must register and pay (if applicable) by May 12, 2023.
Incoming Kindergarten students through grade 6 living two or more miles from their districted schools are eligible to receive no-fee transportation. Incoming Kindergarten students through grade 6 living less than two miles from their districted schools are eligible for fee-based transportation, based on space availability.
All incoming 7th and 8th grade students who wish to ride the bus
MUST REGISTER AND PAY FOR TRANSPORTATION REGARDLESS OF DISTANCE TO SCHOOL.
Transportation fees for the 2023-2024 school year are:
First student: $420
Family cap: $765
Late fee: $75

Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School will be contacting rising 9th graders closer to the start of the 2023-2024 school year.
