Everybody Needs Options: Visualizing Fractions
Want to really see what a fraction looks like? Draw a picture. There will be no doubt about the relative size of fractions. This model, the third and last in a series by Eureka Math Lead Mathematician Scott Baldridge, connects abstract numbers to easy-to-remember visual images. These models give students alternative ways to think about mathematical concepts and provide options for solving problems.

Exploring Themes- 4th Grade Book Club
Caught Being Good
Our faculty and staff use Caught Being Goods as just another way of letting children know that we notice and appreciate simple acts of being helpful and kind throughout our school. When a student receives a Caught Being Good he or she also receives a small prize from Principal Ellis. Here are some students we would like to recognize from this week.
Garden Club Week #5
Special thanks to Mrs. Nancy Berthiaume for leading this program tand for Ms. Sarah Piazza who has provided valuable assistance each week. This program is funded with a grant from the Athol Royalston Education Fund.
