Independent Learning Day

Dear GLOBE community,

Tomorrow, Thursday, January 23, will be another Independent Learning Day. All students and staff will work remotely at home. All after-school and athletic events are also cancelled. This follows DeKalb County School District's decision to extend asynchronous learning through Thursday, due to the ongoing effects of this week's inclement weather.

Kindergarten through 5th grade students will receive an email from their child's lead English and Language teachers with new Independent Learning Day plans no later than 9:30am. Middle School students will receive assignments via Google Classroom. Teachers will again allocate some virtual meeting time to meet with students who need support.
