Madonna Catholic School News
April 25, 2025
Dear Madonna Catholic School Community,
As we celebrate the joy of Easter and the new life Jesus gives us, we also take time to remember someone very special—Pope Francis, who recently passed away.
Pope Francis was a kind and humble leader who showed us how to live like Jesus. Even though he is no longer with us on Earth, his life and example continue to inspire people all around the world, including our Catholic school community.
Here are some of the lessons he taught us:
-
Kindness and Simplicity: Pope Francis reminded us that being kind is more important than being rich or powerful. He lived simply, just like Jesus, and showed that small acts of love can make a big difference.
-
Caring for Others: He spent time with the poor and the sick, teaching us to treat everyone with love and respect, because we are all God’s children.
-
Loving Creation: Pope Francis cared deeply about the Earth, our common home. During this season of new life, we remember to care for God’s creation.
-
Joy in Faith: He always spoke with joy, even in hard times, reminding us that faith in Jesus gives us hope and happiness.
