WISCONSIN FORWARD TESTING REMINDER
3rd-8th grade students will be taking Wisconsin Forward Exams March 18th-April 26th. It is very important your child is in school testing days. The following are a few suggestions for helping your child do their best on the these exams:
Make sure your child gets an adequate amount of rest each night
a healthy diet is important at all times, but specific research suggests that students are able to perform better on tests if they have a well-balanced breakfast to begin the day
Tests are stress producers. Discuss the importance of doing well on tests, but too much discussion can be counterproductive so simply focus on encouraging your child to do their best
Student will also need to have wired headphones (not bluetooth) on testing day.
PTC MEETING
The next PTC meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 19th at 6pm in the school library. Please join us!

THE FUN FAIR IS COMING!
It is that time of year again and we are in the middle of planning the annual Fun Fair!
For those of you who have not experienced it before, the Fun Fair is the biggest PTC annual fundraiser of the year. This year marks 50 years. It will take place here on Saturday, April 20th and is a huge to-do. It is a carnival type event with games, prizes, food, bingo, 50/50 raffle, and a large silent auction. I have been in charge of the silent auction part of the fair for many years. Lots of time and energy is put into it. Each grade has a theme and we ask families to donate items that go with that theme if they would like to. These items are then used to help fill the baskets that are auctioned off on that day. I also get many donations from outside businesses; who very generously donate a variety of items.
There are many families and staff within our school who own their own businesses or have some type of home based business. (For example; Tupperware, Thirty-One, LuLaRoe, It Works, Color Street, homemade crafts, etc.) If any of this applies to you and you would like to make some sort of donation to this year’s silent auction, please contact Mrs. Schultz. Please do not feel obligated or feel as though you have to donate. This is just to let me know who to contact if you are interested in doing so.
Below you will find links to our classroom theme flyers! Please have any contributions turned into school by Monday, April 8th.
4th - Family Games, Puzzles and Books
5th - Cooking, Camping and Gardening
Middle School - Gift Cards and Money
Thank you!
