Workshop Overview
Target Audience: PreK to12 Educators
- Eligible applicants are teachers or school administrators in public, charter, or independent STEM schools, grades K through 12.
- The applicant’s school must be located in Ohio.
Overview:
Are you looking for hands on learning and increased student engagement?
What if it was possible to write and submit a grant for a new innovative project in 2 hours?
Outcomes:
+ Student-led, Standards-based Lesson plans ready to take your students’ cross-curricular educational journey to the next level.
+ Real life applications for students k-12 in the areas of sustainably, growing healthier food, encouraging and empowering families to make lifestyle changes to impact the longevity and quality of life, photosynthesis & respiration, texture & taste, nutrient density, acid-base reactions, plant and animal cell biology, human anatomy & physiology, photochemical and element cycles, functional food, cardiovascular hygiene, experimental design, teamwork, community engagement and partnerships, developing discipline and healthy habits, etc…
+ Science, Math, Writing, Gifted learning, Special needs, Art, Business and Food science applications.
+ $5000 Grant submission for Aeroponic technology in any classroom.

Join us and hear from other teachers who have accessed grants to support the innovative project.
You will receive standards based lesson plans that you can utilize cross curricular to take your student's to their next level of their educational journey.
You will hear more about how NASA engineered aeroponic technology is used to grow fresh, nutrient dense produce 3x as fast with 30 % more yield without pesticides, herbicides, and using only 2% of the water and 10 % of the land when compared to traditional farming.

By attending this PD you will leave educated, encouraged, and empowered and written a $5000 ready to submit grant.
