A Note From Mrs. Bowden...
Wow! Thank you for making the start of this school year AMAZING! Our students were smiling, staff were smiling and hearing all the chatter in the hallways made my week.
Thank you for your patience with traffic flow. It truly is the best start with traffic.
Monday, August 19th is Pride Camp. Our Lighthouse Students are so excited to share all the wonderful information about our culture, leadership, dress code, 8 Habits, Advisory and more. They have worked hard on this event and I am so excited for Monday.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me.
It is a great day to be a LION.

Traffic Update
I want to THANK YOU, traffic has been the best start EVER! I am sharing areas that can be improved. When you think of traffic, please think of the safety for ALL involved. Too many times this week, my heart has stopped because of close calls of students being hit by a car. We all have a place to be.. I cannot stress this enough, the traffic flow is for student safety. I do appreciate everyone. It truly has been a great week and let's continue to make improvements.
- For Drop-Off & Pick-Up please slow down. Speed limit will be enforced.
- Please adhere to the sign which notes where the second line begins. Should there be an emergency, we have to get vehicles in and out.
- There is no longer pick-up or drop-off in the church parking lot and along the car pool line. You must meet your student at the soccer fields. Please park and do not block the flow of traffic.
- There is no student drop-off or pick-up in the front parking lot.
- The school zone is active all along Teel. I have requested flashing school zone lights and for more police presence. Do not drop your student off on Teel.
- Kindness is appreciated as we serve your students by getting them safely into the building.
I have seen so many near misses of a car hitting a student. Please slow down. Please follow the traffic flow, it works, it will get faster and it is for the safety of all involved.
