Absences from School
When a child is absent from school, parents and or guardians must send a note to school explaining the absence. Absences are excused for illness, family bereavement and religious reasons only. When a child is absent for more than 5 days in a row, the parent or guardian must present a doctor's note or Covid-19 results to have the absences excused. When absences are frequent or numerous even when they are not consecutive, TPES may require a doctor's note before the absence can be excused. Please help us optimize learning for your child by having them in school, on time, when they are not sick.
