Permission Forms and School Fees on PowerSchool
- Grade 4-9 PARENTS MUST SIGN A WAIVER ON POWERSCHOOL under School Fees and Forms.
- School Fees are NOW available to pay for all Kindergarten - Gr 9 students

Visitors Must Check in at the Office
It is important for student and staff safety that you drop your students at the doors.
If you need to enter the school, please come to the office and sign in. Parents should not be entering the school through side doors. It is important that we know who is in the building.
School Doors Open at 8:25
Supervision begins at 8:25. Students will not be allowed in the school before as there is not supervision in the school.
Please make sure they enter through their designated doors.
Picking up Students- End of the Day
Please notify the office before 2:45 pm if you need to pick your child up early. It is hard for teachers to answer their classroom phones as they teach until 3:07. Thanks for your cooperation with this.
St. Pat's Adopt a school Event
Join us on Saturday, September 14 between 11-3 to kick of our Indigo Adopt-a-School partnership. There will be coffee, lemonade, face painting and guest student readers.
Sacred Heart Parish Picnic
Please join Sacred Heart Parish for a BBQ Picnic at St. Patrick's Community School!
The event will be held on Sunday, September 15 from 4-7 PM.
This is a family event. The parish will be collecting school supplies, snacks, and money for St. Patrick's Community School.
Gr 4-9 St. Pat's/Dawe Run - September 17
This is the 43rd year of the St. Pat's/Dawe Run for all grade 4-9 students. It follows a scenic route through the river valley promotes fitness, while accommodating both the recreational and competitive runner. The run starts in the field below Heritage Ranch, continues along the paved path, and ends at Great Chief Park.

Cell Phones/Personal Mobile Devices/Social Media
Please review the expectations as a family. We will be making some changes to our existing Cell Phone Expectations to specifically include all Personal Mobile Devices (PMD) to align with Alberta Education’s Ministerial Order.
Expectations include the following:
i. All personal mobile devices need to be powered off / silent and stored in student lockers
ii. Students may not access social media on school networks or school devices
Parents will be notified via email for first and second offenses, PMDs will be confiscated and stored in the office for the student to pick up at the end of the day. On third and subsequent offenses a school administrator will contact the parent and the parent will be responsible for picking up the PMD from the office.

Communication is important to our community, we make every effort to keep parents informed. Important information that needs to be sent immediately is shared with parents via email and/or text messages and telephone calls via our messaging system.
STP Week at a Glance will be posted on social media accounts, sent to parents via text and posted to the school website.

Orange Shirt Day on September 27
Our division will recognize Orange Shirt Day on Friday, September 27, 2024 as we participate in activities for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
If you would like to purchase and Orange shirt for your child, please log into PowerSchool/Forms and Fees and fill out the electronic order form. All orders are due by noon on September 13, 2024.
Healthy Hunger - Hot Lunch
If you would like to order hot lunch, go to HealthyHunger.ca and click “REGISTER YOUR STUDENT”. After your account is created, you will be able to view all upcoming lunches, place orders, and then pay for your orders Online with Visa, or MasterCard.
This cannot be done through the school office.
