Principal's Message-Week Fourteen
Greetings Yellow Jackets!!
TWO MORE DAYS!
I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for your unwavering commitment to our students and school community. Your dedication, creativity, and resilience inspire not only our students but also all of us who are privileged to work alongside you. Thank you for making a lasting impact every day—you are truly the heart of our school!
Let's continue to keep pushing ourselves to make our classrooms places of curiosity and challenge. Let's transition to the second R of our 3Rs: RELEVANCE. Make sure that you continue to keep the main thing, the main thing, and that is teaching and cultivating the whole student as a whole person, using the 3Rs.
Please remember to take time for yourselves and each other. Supporting one another and staying connected as a team strengthens our school community.
During the day, ESPCIALLY THIS WEEK, we need your support! We have shared the duty roster, and we need all hands on deck to continue the momentum of our new traffic flow, especially during first and third period. Please ensure that no one has a hoodie in your class. We realize that when we transition at 7:30 am, it is difficult to catch everyone coming in because of the volume of students coming into the main office lobby.
I will continue to maintain the 3 Cs of leadership: Compassion, Consistency, and Celebration.
This school year, I am charging you to adopt the 3 Rs: Relationship, Relevance, and Rigor in their instructional practice!
We are educational warriors! Owning our practice, owning our students, and owning our legacy. This is #ourgwynnpark, and don't you forget it!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Your Purposeful Principal,
Ms. Hopkins-Vinson
