• Yearbook Update- You will start seeing flyers in Friday folders with more information about our yearbook. See the links below for copies of those flyers.

• Earth Day Help Needed- Our annual Earth Day enrichment opportunity for all students will be April 25. Please consider helping with this engaging event for our students. See more details in the flyer below.
• Last Day of School- The last day of school for 2024-2025, May 29, will be a half day for students. Students will be released 3.5 hours early at 12:13. Breakfast will be served. No lunch will be served on May 29. It will be a full day for staff.
• Plans for Next Year- As we are planning for next year, please let our office staff know if you anticipate any move from Werner for the 2025-2026 school year (5th graders excluded). You can call our staff at 970-488-5550, or email to ksalter@psdschools.org.
• State Testing Update- Our Mathematics (3rd-5th), English Language Arts (3rd-5th), and Science (5th) Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS) tests will begin next week. Please try to avoid scheduling events that would cause your child to be out of school during testing sessions. If you want more information regarding CMAS testing including exempting students, please visit PSD Assessment website.

Throughout the year, we ask our community for photos that could be used for our yearbook and/or social media. This relates to school events only (e.g. classroom parties, field trips, school events, spirit days and enrichment opportunities). You can upload pictures to our 2024-2025 Werner Photo Album throughout the year. Please be mindful to not include photos of students that may not have permission.

FREE MONEY FOR YOUR SCHOOL! Did you know there are ways to donate money to the school by doing things you already do? - If you shop at King Soopers with a loyalty card they will donate to Werner when you sign up here.

- If you like to eat out, the PTA hosts Werner Dines Out once a month and the restaurants we partner with will donate back to the school anywhere from 10-15%!

There Is No Wrong Way to PTA. How Do You PTA?

Thank you for supporting the Werner Elementary PTA!

The Poudre School District Board of Education will host a series of open dialogue sessions for community members in January, February and April. These sessions are designed to give you an opportunity to share your thoughts, ask questions and engage directly with board members in an informal setting.

All are welcome to attend. No RSVP is necessary.

Each session will be held from 5:30-7 p.m. in the media centers of the listed schools. Please choose the location most convenient for you:
