Week 16- Welcome Back Huskies!
Good Evening Huskies,
Happy Sunday! I trust that you are enjoying a relaxing weekend and that you experienced a wonderful Thanksgiving break with family and loved ones. As we prepare for the final three weeks of the semester (followed by Winter break), I want to encourage all of our Husky Scholars to finish strong AND with distinction. Final exams are right around the corner and will be administered on 12/17-12/19.
Next, our motto at Cen10 is “Together We Can, Together We Will.” To us, this means that we are constantly trying to improve together, support each other together, and make things happen together. We will all make mistakes, but the drive, resiliency, and character to grow every day will maximize our successes together.
As a reminder, 1st period begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. Traffic will be heavy every day, especially due to the aquatic center construction currently taking place in the student parking lot. Please drop your Husky Scholar off with plenty of time to be seated in their 1st-period class, prior to 8:30 a.m. start time (Husky Scholars should arrive at least 15 minutes before the first bell to allow time for finding classrooms and settling in). Campus is open at 7:15 a.m. for your convenience. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided for all students. ID cards are required every day.
Lastly, the purpose of this communication is to keep you up-to-date and informed of all things Cen10. Please read through carefully and reach out to us if we can provide further clarification. We look forward to seeing you around Cen10- the BEST HIGH SCHOOL in the state. WE are in this together!
Thank you for the opportunity to be of service.
Proud Husky,
Dr. Romero

This is the group order time for Centennial students to get the best prices of the school year. If you have any questions once you review the information from Jostens, or if you do not receive the information, please email our Jostens rep at mark.boyer@jostens.com.
Athletics
In the month of December we will be focusing on how our Huskies can be Young Leaders. Our first week we will focus on “leading the pack” . Here are some examples we will be looking for this week:
Academic Leadership- Volunteer in class, get your work turned in on time, and go above and beyond on assignments.
Sports Team Leadership: Ensure that all team members feel valued and involved, building a strong, unified team spirit.
Advocacy and Social Change: Advocate for mental health support, promote well-being and advocate for policies or events that celebrate diversity in your school.
Minga Store
We are excited to share that the grand opening of our MINGA STORE was a success! Students had the chance to redeem their points for a variety of rewards, and we are grateful to our Huskies for consistently embracing THE H.U.S.K.Y. WAY expectations and contributing to the positive culture at our school.
To keep the MINGA STORE thriving, we are still accepting donations to ensure a steady supply of new and exciting awards. Your contributions will directly motivate Huskies to continue demonstrating positive behaviors and reinforcing the values of THE H.U.S.K.Y. WAY values. If you’d like to donate, please click on the items below to access a link for purchasing. Donations can be dropped off at the front office, labeled “Minga Store Donation”, along with your child’s name.
Thank you for your ongoing support!
