Organization Tip
Implement proper note-taking strategies. There are plenty of times when students jot down notes quickly and sloppily. When they look back on them, It doesn’t make sense. When you take nice, neat notes, it becomes much easier to keep track of your notes, to study for assessments, allows you to stay more engaged, improving focus, and overall material retention. Use highlighters/colors, underline, bold or anything else you can think of to make your notes more clear and understandable.

Did you know? October 15th is White Cane Safety Day
Since the passing of its resolution in 1964, each 15th of October we celebrate White Cane Safety Day and Blind Americans Equality Day—we celebrate the independence and abilities of individuals who are blind and visually impaired. We celebrate the fact that people with vision loss can go where they want to go, be who they want to be, and go invest in and enjoy the world. This independence is what the white cane symbolizes. It is also what orientation and mobility (travel) skills enable.
