📣 From Our Assistant Principal Mrs. Bernauer🍎
Dear Hollys Families,
Thank you to everyone who participated in our recent parent-teacher conferences! These meetings are a vital part of ensuring our students receive the support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Our teachers deeply value the opportunity to connect with you, share insights about your child’s progress, and work together to set goals. I also want to take a moment to recognize and thank our incredible teachers for the countless hours they put into preparing for these conferences. From gathering data to creating thoughtful plans, their dedication ensures these conversations are meaningful and impactful. We are grateful for their hard work and for your partnership in this process.
As we move through this busy time of year, schedules can feel a bit unpredictable with shortened weeks, breaks, and other adjustments. Please take a moment to check the Cherry Creek School District calendar regularly to stay up to date on important dates and schedule changes. Knowing what’s coming up will help your family plan ahead and ensure that students are prepared and ready for learning every day. We appreciate your efforts to stay informed as we navigate this dynamic season together.
With the changes and unpredictability of this time of year, it’s natural for students to feel a bit off or dysregulated. These feelings can sometimes impact how they interact with others or approach their day. Please take a moment to remind your child of the importance of listening to their teachers, being kind to adults and peers, and taking care of their school community. These small actions go a long way in creating a positive, welcoming environment for everyone.
Attendance also remains a key focus for our school. When students are in class consistently, they have the opportunity to fully engage in learning, collaborate with their peers, and build their understanding step by step. On the other hand, when students miss school, they not only fall behind in their own learning but also miss out on valuable moments with their classmates. We understand that absences happen, but every day in school makes a difference. Thank you for continuing to prioritize your child’s attendance and helping us create a strong foundation for their success.
Thank you for your continued support and for being such an integral part of The Hollys community. Together, we’re creating a space where every student can shine!
Your partner,
Tracie Bernauer
Assistant Principal
