We had another great week at Lakeview, and we are oh so close to next week's Thanksgiving Break. In this newsletter, please join us in celebrating our November Students of the Month! We also have included information on our therapy dog program, as well as our PFC Logo Design Contest.

One final reminder of our Lunch with a Loved One on December 10th. We will close sign-ups this coming Tuesday, so if this is something you are hoping to join us for, don't delay in filling out the form (found below). After the sign-ups close, we will reach out to registered families with more specific information.

Congratulations to our November Students of the Month! Each month at Lakeview, teachers nominate the students who are going above and beyond what is expected of them. These students show respect for themselves, others, and learning through Building Positive Relationships, Personal Discipline, and Being Better Today Than Yesterday! Congratulations to our November nominees: Fatoumata Barry, Jacob Duke-Ward, Raine Hartsell, Emma Nwagwu, Madeline Sheridan, and Rocco Tiberio.

As we have done in previous years, a few times during each quarter, Mrs. Broz-England partners with a community member, Sandy Weber, to bring therapy dogs to Lakeview. Please read through the following information about our program. We also have included an opt-out form below if you would like to opt out your child.

Please consider joining us on Tuesday, December 10th for our first Lunch with a Loved One. On this day, we invite our families into the building to have lunch with their students. Families will have a space reserved in our Media Center, so please sign up as soon as possible so we can plan for enough space.

Please note that Lakeview is not providing lunch. Since Lunch with a Loved One is a special occasion, we allow families to bring in outside food from restaurants.

In collaboration with our soon-to-be-unveiled Panther Family Circle (PFC), Mrs. Broz-England is holding a design contest for the PFC logo. Any interested students should read the information below before designing their logo. All logo submissions are due to Mrs. Broz-England (Room 504) by Wednesday, December 11th.

If you ordered your bundt cakes for our PTO fundraiser.....thank you! Remember: All orders must be picked up between 4:30pm - 5:30pm THIS SUNDAY at Lakeview!

Yearbooks for the 2024-25 school year are now on sale! The final day to secure your child's yearbook for this year is January 20th. Yearbooks can be purchased at yearbookforever.com.

The Family Engagement Center at Ohio State is seeking families for the Statewide Advisory Council. The application deadline is December 9, 2024. Please click the photo below to access the application.
