Do Good. Feel Good. Take the Challenge!
Franciscan Health recently launched a Do Good. Feel Good. 30-Day Challenge. This is a free wellness challenge that is open to anyone; it is focused on introducing new habits, routines, and fresh outlooks on life that transform the way people care for their mind, body, and spirit. After a difficult year, Franciscan wants to help people awaken their happiness again with a calendar of easy, daily tasks that will change them for the better!
When you sign up, you will receive daily emails or texts that encourage you to tackle new challenges like keeping a gratitude journal, taking a moment to stretch and move your body, bumping up your hydration or reaching out to show appreciation. The challenge also provides resources like recipes, devotionals and expert advice that will show you how small steps can lead to sustainable change for a healthier, happier life.
Survey: Help FSSA Improve Crisis Response
With the implementation of a statewide 9-8-8 hotline to connect people in crisis with life-saving resources, the Family and Social Services Administration Division of Mental Health and Addiction is asking for your help. They would like feedback to better serve individuals facing a mental or behavioral health, substance use, or suicidal emergency; and to build a crisis response system Hoosiers can trust and depend on. The survey should take no more than 11 minutes to complete and is available by clicking here.
ONLINE TEACHING AND LEARNING SCHOLARSHIPS
Online teaching and learning scholarships are available for Indiana teachers through Indiana Wesleyan University. Thanks to GEER funding, IWU is developing a pathway that allows educators to be equipped with the skills most needed to teach online during a pandemic and into the future of e-learning, while also providing a series of credentials to help interested teachers continue their education.
