8th Grade Encore Pathway Activities in Connections
Enrollment activities for the 2025-2026 school year will begin this month as 8th graders begin to explore Staley Pathways. All 8th grade Connections classes will participate in pathway learning activities this week.
8th Grade Pathway Information Night - January 15th @ Staley High School
New Mark families are invited to attend a parent information session on Wednesday, January 15th in Staley’s Special Events Center (SEC), from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. This session is designed for all families of incoming freshmen and will provide detailed information about our pathways. If you're unable to attend in person, Staley will provide this information in a recorded presentation prior to your student choosing a pathway. Please see the attached flyer from Dr. Smith with additional information.
Note: This meeting will be identical to the pathway meeting that was held in December.

New Mark's Robotics Team
New Mark’s First Technology Challenge Robotics Team, Hurricane 5, had a meet on Saturday, December 21st at Pembroke High School.
They won 4 of their 6 matches and raised their standing in the league to 12th out of 30 teams.
They are competing and holding their own against mostly high school teams. Keep up the great work!
