Principal's Message
Hello Bulldog Families,
I would like to dedicate the January 27th edition of the Bulldog Bark Newsletter to our Assistant Principal, Mrs. Deborah Collin. Mrs. Collin is retiring this Friday, and we are currently searching for her replacement.
I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for all that she has done over the past three years at Raymond B. Stewart Middle School. Her unwavering support and guidance have been invaluable to me as a new principal. Her dedication and hard work have been instrumental in helping us rise out of DA status and achieve a C rating.
Mrs. Collin began her career with Pasco County Schools in 1999, teaching at Thomas E. Weightman Middle School. She also spent time at John Long Middle School as both a teacher and Assistant Principal.
Mrs. Collin's impact extends far beyond academic achievements. She has supported countless teachers, students, and parents, always with a humble servant approach, confidence, and wisdom. Her ability to be a maternal figure, offering a listening ear, a comforting laugh, or a shoulder to lean on, has made a profound difference in our school community. We are incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to work with her. Her presence has made us all better, and we are deeply appreciative of everything she has done.
We wish her all the best and many blessings in this new season of her life.
January's Resiliency Skill: Honesty
This month, we are focusing on honesty, which means telling the truth. To support this at home, please refer to the attached Honesty Parent Guide for ways to discuss this important skill with your child.
Thank you for taking the time to read this week’s Bulldog Bark newsletter and for being our partner in your child’s education.
Sincerely,
Josh Borders
