Counselor's Corner
Hello Eastwood Elementary Families,
It’s hard to believe that we started the second half of the school year already! As I look back and reflect on the first semester, I am feeling grateful for all the time I’ve spent teaching, helping, and supporting the K-4th grade students. It has been a wonderful start here at Eastwood. :)
The transition back to school and routine, following the hustle and bustle of the holiday break, can sometimes lead to some anxious feelings in children (and even adults!). I wanted to share some insightful and helpful information on stress and anxiety, provided by Counselor Chelsey, a licensed social worker with experience as a school based counselor and working as a curriculum developer.
