Principal Update
As the quarter is coming to an end, we have a new change in regards to quarter report cards. After the first quarter is completed, you will receive this final quarter 1 report card.
The report card you will see after November 11th will show average scores based on all of the benchmark standards housed under a “parent standard.” The purpose of this is to provide a quick overview of a student’s overall performance in a class in a condenced one page format. A more detailed report will also be avilable to view on Infinite Campus. Both reports will stay on Infinite Campus throughout the year.
Gratefully,
Principal Hyer

Veteran's Day Assembly
We will have an assembly in honor of Veteran's Day on Friday, November 8th. There will be an altered schedule to allow for this gatering. If you have a family member that is active duty or a veteran and would like to attend, you are more than welcome to join. We have minimal seating! We ask that families enter door 8 (cafeteria side). Fall DIBLES Results
Parents and Guardians,
We hope this letter finds you well as we near the end of October. We are pleased to inform you of a significant update regarding your child's academic progress as we continue to enhance our communication and streamline access to important information.
We will continue our work to inform you when recent data has been updated in the Infinite Campus parent portal throughout the year. Your child's DIBELS fall assessment results are now available for you to view under the student test detail tab.
Simply log in to your parent portal account using your credentials to access your child's DIBELS data in Infinite Campus. Click here for a complete set of directions to help walk you through the process. Please don't hesitate to reach out to your child's school If you encounter any difficulties or have questions about accessing or interpreting the data.
We believe we can strengthen the partnership between home and school to ensure academic success of our shared students by communicating and making DIBELS data readily available on Infinite Campus.
Thank you for your continued support and involvement in your child's education.
Kleenex Needed
It is coming to be that time of year when the sniffles arrive. If you have any extra Kleenex that you are willing to donate to DMMS classrooms, we would gladly take some! You are more than welcome to drop them off in the Main Office for our classrooms.
Thank you!

PTA One and Done

Lost and Found
We already have quite a bit of lost and found for the year. If your student is missing anything, please make sure they check out lost and found! Anything left at the end of the quarter will be donated.
Drop Off And Pick Up
Construction will continue throughout the 2024-25 school year as work on the new pool progresses. Construction fences and concrete barriers (see attachment remain in place around the parent drop-off/pick-up area.
To help reduce congestion on Howard Drive and in the DMMS parking lot, we offer the following suggestions:
Student Pick-Up and Drop-Off Areas:
School Lot: Please use both lanes and take turns merging near the pick-up/drop-off area.
Crossview Church: Please enter the parking lot and find a parking space. DO NOT stop or park in the roundabout, as this may result in a ticket.
Caswell North: Please find a place to park and wait for your student. Students may use the trail from campus to Caswell North.
