A message from the Principal...
Hello ZB Families,
Happy New Year and welcome to 2nd semester! The start of a new term is a great time to refocus and refresh! ZB had a successful first half to our school year. It was wonderful to see our student’s taking ownership of their learning and working hard to finish 1st semester strong. This is also the time of year that I ask all parents to remain involved and connected to what is happening with school and their child’s education. I urge parents to talk to their students about their course work and grades from first semester along with their attendance. Now would be the time for students to make up any classes that need to be corrected through Apex and make sure they attend school Every day! Parents can also reach out directly to their child’s teacher with questions or concerns. Also, over the next few weeks students will be working with their Advisors and counselors on picking their courses for next year. Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 6:30-8:30 pm. Parents are welcome to attend and meet the teachers in person with no appointment needed. As always, I look forward to creating more great days for our students and staff!
In partnership,
Bonnie Felske
Principal

Grade Level Assembly
On January 9th, all students participated in separate grade-level assemblies. These assemblies were well attended, and we are confident the “Refocus & Refresh” message was effectively communicated and positively received by our students.
The meetings focused on reinforcing academic and behavioral expectations as part of our ongoing efforts to enhance our school culture and climate for everyone in our community. Your support in reinforcing these shared goals at home is invaluable as we work together to help our students succeed.
You can read more about these expectations in our school newspaper, The Stinger. Thank you for your continued partnership!
