To keep students safe online, passwords for all school accounts and devices are changed regularly.

Tomorrow, August 26, students will receive a new password from their teacher. Students not on campus can receive their updated passwords by calling the front office and verifying their identity. Teachers will also be delivering a lesson reinforcing the need for students to protect their data online, and the types of messages to be suspicious of. The District remains committed to student and staff online security and will continue to provide training and support on cybersecurity best practices.

Parents can reinforce responsible technology habits by reminding their children to avoid sharing personal information online, be cautious with unfamiliar email and links, and always "Report, Don’t Repost!" any inappropriate content. This coming week is a four day school week. We will be closed Friday, 8/30 and Monday, 9/2.

On Monday, August 26th, we will be rotating learning Learning Labs: Teacher Learning Labs

Why do we rotate? Canyon View High School spaces were designed as student-owned spaces, and teachers include space use in their planning. Each unique space provides a unique learning opportunity. For example, some spaces provide opportunities for small group collaboration while others allow for easier presentations by individuals or teams. Our department chairs work with their teams on space needs and students rotate every three weeks.

Teacher learning labs will NOT update in synergy. Our teachers communicated their new lab locations in class and on students' Google classrooms. We will also have learning lab locations posted around campus. You can also find learning lab locations on the following link: Teacher Learning Labs

All painted parking spots are reserved for seniors. If you did not paint a spot or are a lower classman, please park in Lot C or the farthest west rows of Lot G. Do not park in Lot E, Lot F, or the east half of Lot G. Only seniors who have purchased and painted a spot have reserved parking. Please do not park in a painted spot that is not yours.

Just a reminder to Senior students and parents that classes had to be balanced. Seniors need to be sure to check their emails and if they were impacted, they would have received an email on Friday afternoon.
