GMS WEEKLY NEWSLETTER APRIL 26, 2024
Happy Friday Wolf Pack Families!
This week all of our students participated in M-Step testing. We appreciate the efforts of our families to get their students to school and to help prepare them to show us what they know. We have one last round of testing for iReady Assessments the week of May 6. We know students are ready to be done with these State/District mandated assessments, but please continue to speak with them about giving us their best efforts. These assessments are a great tool for us to see how we can best serve our students with our instructional practices.
Next Tuesday, many of our 8th grade students will head to Washington D.C. There is excitement in the air and I am so looking forward to going on this trip to see our students engage in all of the learning opportunities throughout the trip. Please check the weather and pack appropriately for the trip. 8th grade students who are not attending the trip, should plan on coming to school each day.
There will not be a parent newsletter next week as I will be on the DC Trip. Please check the "Upcoming Dates" for important reminders on the next few weeks of school.
Wishing you all a great weekend!
Sincerely,
Stuart Riley
Principal, Geisler Middle School
