IMPORTANT - Prom Promise
Parents, we will have our prom promise on Wednesday, April 10th at 8:30 AM. There will be a fake car crash with a fake drunk driver where the ambulance, a helicopter, and police car will be involved. We are informing you for a couple reasons:
1) if you would prefer your child not attend prom promise, please email Iris Garcia at igarcia@pasco.k12.fl.us. We will keep them in the cafeteria during this event.
2) we didn't want anyone to worry that something was happening on campus.

Eclipse Information
Parts of the United States will be able to view a total solar eclipse on April 8th. Florida will experience a partial solar eclipse with 60-65% of totality. During the solar eclipse, even here in Florida, it is dangerous to look directly at the sun. In the Tampa Bay area, the partial eclipse will begin around 1:45pm and last until 4pm with the peak at around 3pm. It is natural to look up at the sky and sun when the event begins, so it is important for students and staff to be aware that they cannot look directly at the sun between 1:45-4pm on April 8th without special eclipse viewing eye protection. The Eclipse guide from NASA is linked below. It includes safety information regrading the April 8th event.
