Seventh grade students leading Stations of the Cross before Mass.
π Message from the Principal π
Dear Families,
This week, I am proud to express our deep appreciation for our outstanding Substitute Teachers. These dedicated individuals step in to care for our students when our regular teachers are unavailable, consistently proving their reliability, often at a momentβs notice.
Finding quality substitutes can be challenging, as it requires individuals who not only understand our curriculum but also connect with our students and embody our schoolβs values. Since joining Shepherd of the Hills, I have had the privilege of working with exceptional professionals such as Mary Bowe, Patty Burns, Maureen O'Connor, Lucy Paczkowski, Mary McCullough, Jeff Voland, Cori Knuth, and Nikki Berres.
Our students, teachers, and the entire school community are fortunate to have committed individuals stepping in with professionalism and grace. Their contributions play an important role in maintaining and ensuring that our educational process proceeds without interruption.
I invite you to join me in extending our appreciation to our substitute teachers for their hard work, continued dedication, and compassion. Their efforts do not go unnoticed, and we are grateful for all they do to support our children and our school.
Thank you!

Archdiocesan Policy 1250: Visitors to Parish/School Programs
In order to ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff, school administrators shall regulate all visitors to their buildings and grounds.
All visitors to the school/religious education program shall report to the office when entering and must receive authorization before visiting classrooms and other parts of the building. This requirement does not apply when visitors are attending an athletic event or other public program in areas typically used for large group assembly, such as gymnasiums and auditoriums, or when parents are attending activities clearly for the purpose of parent involvement, such as an open house or parent-teacher conferences.
The school administrator or designee has the discretion to request that a visitor leave the premises if he/she believes that the visitorβs presence presents a danger to students, staff, or property or if that personβs presence is disruptive to the operation of school or program. Law enforcement shall be called if persons refuse to comply.
Students may not bring guests to school unless the studentβs parent/legal guardian and authorized school representative have granted permission to do so.
A student is never released from parish/school programs to anyone who is not clearly identified as his/her parent or an adult authorized in writing by the parent for this purpose.
