Hoping you all have been able to enjoy your summer in your own unique and creative way. While there is still some time to continue the fun, we want to look ahead to the 2020-2021 school year.
Our administration and staff have taken some time off but are always thinking about how to bring the best to your children. Many of them have also been participating in professional development opportunities, and we look forward to having them bring new ideas and concepts back to SVDP.
Here is some important information to assist you in preparing for the 2020-2021 school year.
REGISTRATION
Our annual registration process begins August 3rd. All families (new and returning) are required to complete this process. This process allows us to gather contact information and permissions for the school year. It is important to complete all areas of the process and sign the Archdiocesan signature pages. The registration process will close on August 9th.
We will send you a reminder on August 3rd with the registration link.
ORIENTATION DAYS - August 18 and 19 (Save the dates)
To aid our transition into the school year, we will be assigning students to an orientation time slot by family on the first two days of school. Be prepared to bring your student(s) to school at your designated time. Students K-2 will remain on campus for 40 minutes and students 3-8 will remain on campus for approximately 60 minutes.
Students will dress in uniform and be groomed and ready for school (see handbook guidelines), practice the entry protocols, meet and greet their teacher, get a quick tour of their learning environment (on campus and online), complete a diagnostic assessment, and take a school photo. Students will go home with purchased school supplies, iPads (grades 5-7), student planners (grades 3-8), and necessary learning materials.

UNIFORMS
When we return to campus, your student will need to be outfitted in the standard SVDP uniform. Our uniform provider is still Classic Designs.
All uniform items are to be purchased through our uniform provider.
The following items can be purchased else where:
- Crew socks, tights and leggings can be purchase from an outside provider as long as they are white (tights and leggings can be white or navy).
- Undershirts or turtle necks can be worn underneath required shirts (white only)
- Shoes are to be ALL white leather top tennis/athletic shoes (no logos or color designs permitted)
- Hair accessories should be school colors (no distracting designs or attachments)

CHOICELUNCH
Choicelunch will be returning as our lunch time food provider. All families need to register and create a family account. Though we will not be having lunch onsite, there is an option to order for take out. Choicelunch will bag your students lunch for your convenience.
