What's Up Next?
Happy Sunday HES Family & Friends!
We are almost at our half-way point for the first nine weeks and we are excited about the progress we are making. Thank you to those parents and families that took time to join us last week to learn more about our communication efforts with ParentSquare, Parent Portal, and PBIS Rewards! These are some valuable tools that will be of great benefit to you as we continue this school year. We hope that you will join us this week for our End of Summer STEM Night. Come have some family fun with a few hands-on activities. Students that have a parent in attendance will receive a nice incentive to use for the next school day. Please check out our flyer below.
Friendly Reminders:
- School starts at 8:00 a.m. Your child will be marked tardy if they arrive after 8:00 a.m.
- Please arrive before 8:00 a.m. to ensure that your child has time to eat breakfast before classes begin. The Car Rider door is closed at 8:00 a.m. daily. Students must be dropped off and signed in by a parent or guardian in the front after this time.
- Breakfast is served to all students daily from 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. with a student choice of hot or cold.
- School Dismissal begins at 2:55 p.m.
- Students that are not picked up at the car rider area by 3:15 p.m. will be taken to the front office to be released. Please make arrangements to have your child picked up no later than 3:30 p.m.
- Make right turns ONLY when exiting the car rider drop-off/pick-up line.
- Please allow our staff to enter the parking lot in the mornings by keeping the car rider lane open at the entrance near the playground.
- Car Rider Parents: To help ensure the safety of loading and unloading our precious cargo (students), please place your car in the Park position while students are entering/exiting the vehicle.
Thank you again for your support and allowing us an opportunity to serve your child! Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our school at (478) 353-8200. I look forward to another awesome week ahead with each of you!
