School District of Howards Grove
Parent & Guardian Newsletter December 2024
Update from the Superintendent
Greetings Parents & Guardians-
Thanks for reading another update from the School District of Howards Grove. I am often told that one can't OVER communicate, but I also want to respect the quality time each of us has in a normal day. As parents & guardians, you should have received an email from me this week with resources during this very difficult time after a school shooting in our very own state and hopefully all of you also received our recent community newsletter in paper form, The Tiger Press which highlighted many of the great things going on in our schools. As a result of these recent communications, this digital newsletter will be short and sweet and hopefully be a gift of time during this busy week before the holidays.
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year! 2025 is the year we will be opening a new Middle School.
Sincerely,
Shannon Kilton
Superintendent
