5th Grade Promotion Ceremony and Clap out
We are so excited for our 5th Grade Promotion Ceremony this Thursday! It’s going to be a wonderful day to celebrate the hard work, growth, and accomplishments of our amazing students. 🎉
Just a quick reminder about parking: Please use the main lot or the overflow lot for the event. Kindly avoid parking in the car line, as families with Kinder through 4th grade students will still be using it during our end-of-day clap out. Please see the picture below w
Thank you for helping us make this day smooth, safe, and memorable for everyone, we can’t wait to celebrate with you! ❤️🎓

5th Grade Breakfast -May 30th
We are so proud of our amazing 5th grade students! This year has been filled with growth, learning, laughter, and unforgettable memories. As they prepare to take the next big step into middle school, we want to take a moment to celebrate all of their accomplishments and the incredible young leaders they are becoming.
On May 30th, we will host a special 5th Grade Breakfast to honor their hard work and the bright futures that lie ahead. It’s a small way to say thank you for the joy and spirit they’ve brought to our school, and to wish them all the best as they soar into this exciting new chapter!

Technology Return
Incoming 6th Graders: Bring your 5th-grade iPad to the back-to-school day to exchange for your new 6th-grade Chromebook. Tech will evaluate the iPad's condition, and fees may apply for broken equipment. You must return your iPad, iPad case, charging cable, and charging brick. Do not return equipment at the conclusion of the school year or summer school. Students are to keep their devices until the back-to-school day.
Incoming 3rd Graders: You will exchange your 2nd-grade iPad for a new iPad after the school year begins. Teachers will collect chargers and cables. Tech will assess the returned iPads, and fees may be applied for any damage. Do not return equipment at the conclusion of the school year or summer school. Students are to keep their devices until they return to school.
Incoming Kindergarten Students: You will receive your new iPad after the school year starts.

Countdown Calendar
As the school year winds down, we’re excited to celebrate with a special End-of-Year Spirit Calendar! Each day will bring a little fun, some days your child can come dressed up in a theme, and other days will feature engaging activities right in the classroom. It’s a great way to build memories, keep the excitement going, and end the year on a high note!
We can’t wait to make these last weeks of school extra special!
Pre-Planned Absences
The school calendar has been established a year in advance and is available on the District website: www.d181.org. While we realize the value of family time, we strongly discourage the planning of vacations during regular student attendance days.
Elementary School Information Related to Planned Absences:
In the event of a planned absence, a parent must communicate directly with the school at least two days prior indicating their intentions. A parent/guardian may email, complete this form, or call the Office with the following information:
Name of student
reason for the absence, and
date(s) the student will be absent
If a planned absence consists of three (3) or more days, assignments and completion dates will be given after the absence as determined by the teacher. Teachers will not be required to re-teach material missed by students.
