News from the Den
Mrs. Chason's Drawing I Students
Mrs. Chason's Drawing I students explore mark making using experimental techniques like printmaking, coffee painting, watercolor blowing and bubbles. Students enjoyed taking a break from lecturing to experiment with different movements, colors and textures.
Mr. Cameron's Astronomy Classes
The Astronomy classes have just finished up an introductory unit on constellations. They also created their own constellation using star points from the Northern Hemisphere, named it etc., then created a back story of how that constellation came to be.
Here the classes are beginning to learn how to operate the Refracting telescope by focusing on the
banners at the far end of the football field. This will allow them to correctly operate this type of
telescope for future night sky observations.
