Spring 2025
π£ Families! Here's What's Happening
As we step into May, there is so much to celebrate across our schools! Our students continue to inspire us each day with their hard work, creativity, and resilience.
Next week marks the start of both Teacher Appreciation Week and New Jersey State Testing, and itβs the perfect time to recognize the incredible dedication of our teachers, who pour their hearts into supporting every learnerβs growth and success.
Letβs come together to cheer on our students as they showcase all theyβve learned this year and to express our heartfelt gratitude to the educators who make a lasting difference in their lives each and every day.
Enjoy Spring,
Jane-Ellen

π‘ Reminders
New Jersey State Testing Begins Next Week
The NJSLA Spring 2025 testing, a crucial part of our students' academic journey, will commence next week, on May 5th, and continue throughout the month. Students in grades 3 to 9 will undertake the English Language Arts and Math assessments over five days. Additionally, students in grades 5, 8, and 11 will participate in the NJSLA-Science assessment from May 5th to 12th. These computer-based assessments are meticulously aligned with the New Jersey State standards, underscoring their significance.
What Families Can Do to Support Their Children
Please continue to assist us in providing every one of our students with the greatest opportunity to be successful and demonstrate their true abilities. We ask for your help in getting your children to school on time, with their charged Chromebook, well-rested, and having eaten a nutritious breakfast. We cannot allow students to enter the testing rooms once the testing has begun. Failure to report to school on time will result in scheduling your child for make-up testing
