Daniel Wright
Black History Month
February is Black History Month and students at Daniel Wright have been participating in many curriculum-aligned activities to learn about the history and accomplishments of black Americans.
The school's Free to Be Club created a bulletin board to highlight the accomplishments of black figures, both past and present. The people on the board were specifically chosen with some of them well-known while others do not get the recognition they deserve. The bulletin board creators hope to educate all those students who view their board!
