HILLSIDE, IL -Proviso East High School had the privilege of welcoming back the Proviso East Alumni Association Scholarship recipients and donors for an unforgettable afternoon of celebration. The Proviso East Alumni Association (PEAA) awarded $25,000 in scholarships to 19 deserving graduates from the Class of 2024, marking their first return to campus as official East alumni.
This marks the second year that PEAA has generously supported Proviso East graduates through scholarship awards. The event celebrated not only the academic achievements of these exceptional students but also the impact of the PEAA and its donors, whose contributions have helped make the students' academic dreams a reality.
Principal Mr. Hull shared his excitement for the event, saying, “It was a great event and many of the Class of 2024 graduates attended. I’m very glad that they have adopted the ‘Pay it Forward’ mission for supporting the future of Proviso East.”
