Principal's Message
Dear Falcon students and families,
As we move into the first week of October, I want to thank all of our staff and students for their amazing work through the month of September. In the classroom, participating in the Falcon school community and throughout activities, everyone has been committed to making this a successful start to the school year.
Last week, our entire population participated in a Bus Evacuation Drill, we highlighted the start of the year for our Grade 12s with the Senior Sunrise, and we honoured National Truth & Reconciliation Day with Orange Shirt Day and a wonderful Bannock Lunch. Each of these successful events continually make me proud to be a part of the Falcon community. We also will be hosting a ACAC College Basketball game in Facey's main gym. Please come out and catch the great basketball action as all the proceeds of the game go to Bev Facey High School Basketball program.
I hope all of you get a chance to take in some of the National Truth & Reconciliation Day events throughout the Edmonton area on Monday, and were able to enjoy some of the beautiful outdoors during this past weekend.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Ken Wlos
Principal
