Course Selections 2025-2026
Counselors will be starting the course selection process this week, beginning with current juniors. We will present course information to all students in their English classes in the coming weeks. After each grade level's presentations conclude, students will be sent a Google Form to request their classes for next school year. After we receive students' requests, counselors will meet one-on-one with all students in March to discuss their progress and finalize their course selections. We will cover important information at our Academic Planning Night on Monday, 2/3, at 6pm. All 9th-11th grade families are encouraged to attend.
Financial Aid Fridays
Financial Aid Fridays have begun. For a chance to win prizes each Friday, all you need to do is submit your FAFSA or CADAA. Make sure to launch your application through Californiacolleges.edu to be in the raffle. The last chance to submit your applications is March 3! The earlier you submit, the better!
Community College Enrollment Workshops
Seniors, the first community college enrollment workshop will take place this Wednesday, February 5th, in Room 606. College reps will be on campus to help you with your accounts and applications during your English period. Please make sure to report to your English class first for attendance. Counselors will be there to give some quick info and take you to Room 606. On Wednesday, please make sure to bring the following:
- Charged chromebook
- U.S. citizens will need their Social Security Number. Non-citizens will need their Alien Registration Number or Visa type with issue and expiration dates in order to complete the college application. If you do not have any of those documents, that is OK. You can still apply using a "No Documents" option.
Students who complete the steps in all three workshops will receive priority registration!
