MT's purpose is to educate and empower students to become responsible citizens.
A Few Words From the Principal
Next week brings Halloween and we often get questions about what is the dress for Halloween at MT. Halloween is a normal school day at MT. We do not wear costumes to school. Some wear funny shirts or Halloween themed shirts and those are fine, but we do not wear masks or hats. Thank you.
Here is a peak into two of our classrooms this week.

News & Information
Changes to Building Visits
Parents should have received communication from the district this week regarding district-wide changes to building access. We are asking everyone who wishes to enter MTMS to present their state-issued identification (Driver's License) at the door when requesting access to the building. This includes dropping off items in the foyer as well coming inside for student check outs. Thank you for having your identification ready at the door to help us create secure facilities and protect our students and staff members. Please feel free to contact the office if you have any questions. This change will be effective Monday, October 28th.
Veterans Day Recognition
Please click here to share the name of any veteran you would like us to acknowledge and/or a veteran who will be attending.

If your student forgets to take medication before school or you bring medication for your student, you will be asked to stay and administer the medication to your student.
Illness
Please report any symptoms of illness to the school. Please be specific- report symptoms such as sore throat, nausea, fever instead of reporting “ill” or “sick”. Giving symptoms helps with Health Department reporting and to see illness trends in the district.
It is district policy to keep your student home until symptom free/fever free for 24 hours without medication. It will help to prevent the spread of illness.
