News from Winfield Elementary: April 25, 2025
From the Principals, Mrs. Alonzo & Mrs. Hall
Dear Winfield Families,
As we approach the final stretch of the school year, I want to take a moment to thank you for all the support and partnership you've shown so far. 💙 With just a few weeks left, now is the time to give it our all! 💪📚 Every day matters—whether it's arriving on time, staying focused in class, finishing projects, or simply showing kindness and encouragement. These final moments are a chance for students to demonstrate how much they've grown and to finish the year with pride. 🌟🎓
Let’s work together to keep spirits high and motivation strong. Your support at home helps us create a positive, productive environment at school. We’re so proud of what our students have accomplished—and we know they can cross the finish line with confidence and joy. 🏁✨
Let’s finish strong—together!
With gratitude,
Mrs. Alonzo & Mrs. Hall

End-of-Year Library Book Return and Fine Information
It’s that time of year! All library books must be returned by the last student day, Monday, June 2. Please check for overdue notices from the school library this month and help your students locate their missing books. If you believe there is an error with a notice, please contact the school library as soon as possible. Books not returned by June 2 will be considered lost. All fines for lost and damaged library books will be available in PowerSchool no later than June 23. Please note, book fines will not be reversed or refunded if a book is found after the fine is entered.
Yearbook Sales
We have about 20 yearbooks still available. They are $17 each, and are payable with cash or a check made payable to Winfield Elementary. Please send in your child's money in a labeled envelope to the office. We will have them available until they sell out.
Lost & Found
The Winfield Elementary Lost and Found is once again overflowing with jackets, sweatshirts, and water bottles. Please have your student check for any missing items. You are welcome to call the office if you are looking for something in particular. Please ALWAYS LABEL EVERYTHING that your child can take off or set down. We check for names to return to students! All leftover items will be donated on June 2nd.
