Happy Saturday Sunbeam Families! We had such a fun week celebrating St. Patrick's Day with our O'Sunbeams! Green Jell-O on Monday and Tuesday was met with mixed reviews during snack and sadly our Bears did not catch that sneaky leprechaun. In Music and Chapel, we listed to Seven Jumps and had fun skipping and clapping to the music. We read the Bible story of the Lord's Prayer and noted that a shamrock has 3 leaves for Father (God), Son (Jesus) and Holy Spirit. We're working on learning the Lord's Prayer and chatted about the importance of prayer.

Our GBP Classic Golf Tournament is 2 weeks away!!! We are looking for Sponsors and Golfers for our 2nd Annual GBP Classic Golf Tournament on April 4, 2025 at Raspberry Falls Golf and Hunt Club! Registration includes driving range balls, breakfast, 18 holes of golf, sit down BBQ lunch in the Clubhouse and beverages throughout the event. Not a golfer? We are really looking forward to celebrating our 60th Anniversary on April 27th! Our Sunbeams are invited to join us and share some of our favorite songs with the congregation. We'll enjoy cake after the service and as an added bonus its Backpack Buddies Packing Day!! Each month, our students have pack the fruit for Backpack Buddies. The 4th Sunday of the month, our church members pack the bags (including the fruit) for our friends at Catoctin ES who are experiencing food insecurities. Orders will be delivered to GBP prior to celebration Sunday!

Please remember to pull up as far as possible on Wirt Street during drop off and pick up. Also, please do not block the driveway to the left of the Wirt Street doors, we do not own that property. Lastly, please remember (and share with anyone else who may pick up your children): our Owls and Bees are in their classrooms until Noon. If you arrive before noon to pick up your Owls/Bees/siblings, please remain in your vehicle so you can pull up when other parents leave.
