Attention students interested in playing Irondale Boys Lacrosse this spring! Coach Barry is hosting an informational lacrosse meeting for the 2025 spring season on Monday, November 11, starting at 7 PM in the Irondale High School Weight Room. No experience is necessary, just a desire to learn, work hard, and be part of the team. Coach Barry will be discussing the upcoming season, general expectations, and answer questions. All interested 8th through 12th grade students and parents should attend. We are looking forward to another great season and would love for you to be part of the team! This year, the School Board is asking the community to provide feedback regarding student use of cellphones in schools. Nearly 4,000 people shared their thoughts in an online survey, and about 200 people attended community conversations. Survey results and themes from the conversations will be shared with the community in the coming weeks. This feedback also will be shared with an advisory committee of parents, students and staff for their review. The group will identify themes found in the responses and provide recommendations to the School Board. The feedback and recommendations will ultimately be used to help inform the creation of a cell phone policy. Learn more at mvpschools.org/cellphones.

Winter Sports start at varying times - please see HERE for more information. A valid sports qualifying physical must be on file in the Activities Office in order to register, and all students must be registered in order to practice/try-out. Full instructions are available on our registration webpage.

The season runs from mid November - mid February. No previous ski experience is necessary - coaches and other skiers will help you learn to ski!
